Everything You Need to Know

General

  • Ganqing - A Fanzine (GQZine) is a passion project brought to life by a group of very talented creatives working together to make something one-of-a-kind.
  • The zine will be professionally printed, but bound by hand in a variation of stab-binding, which is a traditional book binding method. 
  • This is a limited edition zine, meaning there will only be so many physical copies available to purchase.
  • This zine is aiming to be 'break-even,' meaning any and all proceeds are being used to fund the project. No profit of any kind is projected (in fact, we expect to run a deficit, lol), and a summary of finance breakdowns will be shared at project end.
  • All items listed here are PRE-ORDERS. By purchasing anything, you understand that the items will not be shipped until production and manufacturing is completed. By virtue of some elements being hand-made, the production period may be longer than usual compared to similar projects. Keep up to date on progress by following the Zine’s social media accounts (tumblr & Bsky, linked below). 

Return and Refund Policy

  • Returns/refunds may be processed during the pre-order period ONLY. 
  • Once pre-orders close, all sales are final and unrefundable.
  • To cancel or change an order, please contact us BEFORE pre-orders end.
  • The GQzine will not be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. 

Shipping

  • Items with a USAmerican delivery address will ship from USAmerica. All other destinations will ship from Canada. 
  • Should we be unable to ship to a country, the buyer will be contacted to make alternate arrangements or refund. Please check your nation’s status prior to ordering to avoid delays and disappointment. 
  • Buy pays all shipping costs and will be responsible for covering any additional customs/duties/VAT/taxes or whatever else our governments feel like charging. These seem to change frequently so make sure you’re not caught unaware. 
  • Shipping addresses can be updated up until shipping begins. Contact us by email immediately if you have a change of address. We will not be responsible for undeliverable packages due to incorrect or outdated addresses. 
  • Digital items will be delivered when the shipping of physical items begins.
  • Shipping is estimated to commence in Q1 of 2026.
